PiRO Noir - the compact, budget-friendly Raspberry Pi 4 system with RISC OS The PiRO Noir is a compacted , ultra-budget version of our PiHarder. That doesn’t mean it’s not as good - it means it’s actually cheap and will make you cheerful! If you don’t need a complicated system with internal hard drive, then the PiRO Noir offers performance akin to that of some of the most expensive RISC OS systems on the market. PiRO Noir utilises an excellent hard-wearing ABS case, in matte black, slimmed down to a mere 32mm. With a temperature controlled internal fan to keep the system cool, it comes overclocked to the max out of the box, and you’ll still struggle to hear the whisper-quiet fan unless you get very close. At the front of the case, there are two additional USB ports, SD card slot (for ease of popping out the SD to use Linux or another RISC OS card!), activity LEDS, and a momentary illuminated push button which gives you control over when the system is powered up. It’s just plain simple!
