Special and Rare Cases for PiSome rare or custom cases intended for use with the Raspberry Pi. Very limited stock!Plusberry Pi (2 in stock). The Plusberry Pi was a crowdfunded campaign for a custom Raspberry Pi case designed to be a powerful media box with an integrated USB hub and 2.5-inch HDD bay, consolidating external components and cables into a single, tidy unit for the living room. It included features like a built-in SATA connector, external USB ports, a fan placeholder, and front LED, aiming to create a "living-room worthy" media server solution. The project was launched in 2014 but later ceased shipments, making it a rare and discontinued item.THORIN - an Oaken Shield for the Raspberry PiThe deceptively budget-conscious, and yet exquisite Thorin is a series of Oaken Shield cases for the Raspberry Pi. In a throwback to the origins of the original chips, this case comes in three designs to reflect the ARM chip's progress.•OakNut - similar to the symbol used by Acorn Computers, developers of the original ARM chips - or Acorn RISC Machines as they were then known.•Cog – reflecting the operating system designed for the original ARM chips, and still going strong and under active development today•Berry – a reference to where the ARM chip is widely used today in the computing field.Thorin Oaken Shields are made from oak veneered MDF, cut to shield the surfaces of the Raspberry Pi B+/2B/3B/3B+, with designed cut-outs to allow cooling from the warmest components. Even the spacers that raise the shield from the bed of the Pi are cut from oak veneer. There’s even space under the shield to add a cooling fan, especially useful for those who want to overclock their Pi.The Thorin fits all Pi model Bs from B+ up to the Pi4. There is a semicircular cutout to allow easy removal of the SD card, on the base plate and cut-outs for the GPIO pins (and PoE pins). Each kit is supplied with the veneered base plate, custom cut-out top plate and 8 spacers, along with 4 screws and 4 nuts to hold everything together. As a result of customer requests, Thorin range is now also available in coloured and clear acrylics, glass effect acrylic and other wooden veneers.RiscCE - slice case for the Pi (5 in stock). In conjunction with Ident Computers, the Risc Compact Edition or 'CE' brings together the latest in 3D print technology and manufacturing techniques to bring an exciting new product to the RISC OS market, exclusively available through RISCOSbits.Using RiscCE, users can build open and flexible computing systems tailored to their needs and all in a compact desktop unit. Using custom brackets, the RiscCE can be stacked with extra slices to allow for expansion and co-processors - just like the much loved RiscPC!RiscCE kits are designed specifically for use with Raspberry Pi B+, Pi2B, Pi3B, Pi3B+ and possbily the Asus Tinkerboard and comprises all the 3D printed parts you’ll need to encase your beloved RISC OS single board computer.Quattro (3 in stock).he Quattro case is a protective enclosure for earlier Raspberry Pi models (B+, 2, and 3) that elevates the single-board computer into a more versatile media server or desktop replacement. Made from robust ABS plastic, its design is modular, featuring a base, a central band, and a cover that snap together. Its square form factor gives it a stylish, compact appearance that is equally at home behind a monitor or on a living room shelf. The case's defining feature is its expanded interior, which sets it apart from standard enclosures. Inside, it accommodates a 2.5-inch hard disk drive or SSD, transforming the tiny computer into a personal media hub. For enthusiasts, there is also ample space to stack additional hardware, such as HATs and even a hidden, front-facing Raspberry Pi camera. Thoughtful design details include non-slip rubber feet for stability, ventilation holes to dissipate heat, and security screw options to lock the cover in place. With recessed openings for all of the Pi's ports and a removable panel for easy access to the microSD card, the Quattro combines protection with practicality. For mounting, it offers both keyholes for wall installation and a VESA bracket, allowing the entire setup to be securely attached to the back of a monitor. It is a case designed for those who want to expand their Raspberry Pi's capabilities while keeping it neat, organized, and secure.
